Job summary

Pet Food Experts, Seattle, WA, is seeking a Key Account Manager to defend and grow our portfolio across key neighborhood pet and ecommerce accounts. You will build strong retailer relationships and coordinate with Customer Experience and Vendor Development to align with business objectives.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in B2B sales, strong negotiation and planning skills, and comfort working with ecommerce and Northwest retailers. Travel up to 50% and a BA/BS are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of B2B sales experience with demonstrated mastery of the job accountabilities.
• Experience working with key Ecommerce and Pacific Northwest Retailers is preferred.
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree BA or BS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop a thorough understanding of brands, products, market conditions, and retailer strategies to maximize selling.
• Achieve territory sales objectives by growing profitable sales via vendor development programs with Key Retailers.
• Formulate business strategies tailored to Key Retailers and use analytics to identify growth avenues.
• Foster alliances with Key Retailers and Vendor Partners to secure market dominance.
• Coordinate data-driven sales plans and collaborate with RSM, Vendor Partners, and peers for execution.
• Maintain meticulous records of contacts and interactions using HubSpot.
