Caterpillar Inc. in East Peoria, IL seeks a Vendor Management Analyst - IT Negotiator to work with IT leaders on third-party IT requirements (SaaS, software, cloud, hardware and telecom).

Lead complex deals, negotiate with vendors to minimize risk and maximize value, and provide thought leadership to IT customers across locations. You will partner with finance, procurement and legal, drive annual savings, and manage contract renewals while supporting IT service owners in mandate-driven

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years’ equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• Experience with IT sourcing and negotiations.
• Ability to interpret contract language and summarize historical contracts.

Responsabilités

• Create detailed negotiation strategies and counteroffers.
• Advise internal customers on negotiation plans and timing.
• Engage with IT teams on supplier requirements and evaluation.
• Lead liaison roles with IT service owners and procurement.
• Conduct supplier spend analysis to identify opportunities.
