Job summary

Computacenter AG & Co. oHG in Indiana is seeking a seasoned IT procurement professional to lead sourcing, RFx execution, and vendor negotiations across software, SaaS, cloud, and hardware.

You will partner with internal IT, engineering, and finance to forecast technology needs and optimize purchasing. You will review vendor terms, manage risk, track spend against budgets, and monitor supplier performance to drive cost savings while maintaining compliance and data security.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of IT procurement experience with a focus on hardware, software and SaaS.
• Familiarity with software licensing models and IT infrastructure components.
• Experience with ERP/procurement platforms and strong Excel analytics.
• Outstanding negotiation, cross-functional collaboration and analytical problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Lead sourcing and RFx execution for software, SaaS, cloud services and hardware.
• Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, discounts and SLAs with vendors.
• Review vendor terms and assess commercial, legal and data security risks.
• Monitor spend vs. budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal IT, engineering and finance to forecast needs.
• Track supplier performance, delivery and license renewals.
