Job summary

American Greetings in Westlake, Ohio, on-site only, seeks an IT Vendor Management, Sourcing and Procurement Specialist with 7+ years in multi-vendor environments. You will lead vendor relationships, drive procurement, licensing, and contract management while partnering with IT and business stakeholders to optimize cost and performance.

You will develop scorecards, manage RFPs and vendor selections, and ensure license compliance across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of enterprise technology procurement, contract negotiation, and vendor relationship management in a multi-vendor IT environment across hardware, software, XaaS, and contractor services.
• Experience negotiating IT contracts with major vendors such as Microsoft, Adobe, Broadcom, IBM and other enterprise partners.
• Knowledge of software licensing models (perpetual, subscription, cloud) and licensing audits.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the vendor landscape and retire/replace vendors as needed.
• Develop onboarding, training and offboarding processes for vendors.
• Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to meet vendor performance requirements.
• Create vendor performance scorecards and monitor SLAs/KPIs, driving root cause analysis and improvements.
• Ensure due diligence, risk assessment and ongoing vendor monitoring across the enterprise.
• Lead vendor dispute resolution and escalation, and manage license compliance.
• Coordinate with IT Delivery Managers to ensure support processes before projects start.
• Lead vendor selection processes including RFPs and evaluation across a broad technology scope.
• Negotiate contract terms and modifications with vendors while aligning with stakeholder requirements.
• Lead renewal and right-sizing of licenses and subscriptions.
