Healthfirst is seeking a Category Manager for IT hardware, software, and telecommunications to develop and execute multi‑year category strategies that optimize value and manage risk. You will lead end‑to‑end sourcing, leveraging spend analytics and AI‑enabled procurement to drive measurable business outcomes across hardware, software, cloud, and related technology.

You will collaborate across Procurement COE, IT, Information Security, Enterprise Architecture, Finance, Legal, and business

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in strategic sourcing, category management, procurement, or technology supplier management.
• Experience with IT hardware, software, telecommunications, cloud services, or enterprise technology suppliers.
• Strong knowledge of negotiations, contract lifecycle management, software licensing, and cloud procurement.
• Excellent analytical, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Hybrid work schedule requiring in-office presence at 100 Church Street, NYC two days per week (Tue–Thu).

Responsabilités

• Develop and execute multi-year category strategies for IT hardware, software, telecommunications, cloud, and related technology.
• Utilize spend analytics, market intelligence, and digital procurement tools to create data-driven strategies.
• Lead end‑to‑end strategic sourcing initiatives, market analysis, RFx, supplier evaluation, negotiations, and contract award.
• Negotiate agreements maximizing enterprise value while managing risk and compliance.
• Develop supplier relationships and drive performance reviews using data‑driven scorecards.
