Job summary

Abbott Laboratories in the United States seeks an experienced IT Contract Manager, Infrastructure & Strategic Services, to oversee strategic technology supplier relationships and ensure contracts deliver measurable business value.

You will lead commercial, contractual, financial, and governance management of infrastructure services and enterprise consulting partners, using data-driven insights to improve performance, cost efficiency, and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 10+ years professional experience, including 5+ years in IT contract management or supplier management.
• Experience in infrastructure managed services and complex SOWs.
• Strong understanding of commercial models for managed services.
• Advanced financial management and analytics, budgeting and TCO.
• Advanced Excel and reporting tools experience.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Detail-oriented with clear documentation.

Responsibilities

• Manage full lifecycle of complex IT services agreements including MSAs and SOWs.
• Negotiate, administer, and optimize supplier contracts with cross-functional teams.
• Establish governance processes, renewal roadmaps, and accountability mechanisms.
• Monitor SLAs, KPIs, and business objectives.
• Lead governance forums and executive reviews with providers.
• Develop dashboards, scorecards, KPI reporting, and financial models.
• Analyze spend, forecasting, and cost optimization opportunities.
• Support budgeting, invoicing, variance analysis, and savings tracking.
• Translate data into executive recommendations.
• Support sourcing initiatives (RFPs, RFQs, supplier evaluations).
