The role partners with Core Diagnostics and IT delivery teams, managing programs up to $15M, leading diverse teams, and ensuring governance, privacy, and compliant data use in a regulated environment. Onsite in IL with strong benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field as stated by Abbott.
• 8-10 years IT or Data Analytics experience in large healthcare orgs.
• Knowledge of data, analytics and AI technologies (Databricks, Fabric, Power BI).
• Experience with data governance, data quality, privacy, and data mesh concepts.
• Experience leading teams and defining IT strategy and portfolio management.

Responsibilities

• Understand data use, governance objectives, and analytics governance.
• Maintain a portfolio roadmap ($1M-$15MM) aligned to business strategy.
• Translate business strategy into IT programs and applications.
• Lead virtual, cross-cultural teams; manage risks and scope.
• Drive process improvements and advocate for innovative IT solutions.
• Oversee budgets, ROI, and cost optimization; lead people operations.
• Establish relationships across Abbott IT and external suppliers.
• Ensure regulatory compliance, privacy, and secure data democratization.
