Job summary

Profit Recovery Partners is seeking a Senior Manager of Business Optimization to advise Fortune 1000–scale enterprises on cost reduction. You’ll lead expense-reduction projects from assessment through strategy, pricing and vendor negotiations, partnering with CFOs and CIOs.

You will direct a small team, apply data-driven analyses, and develop cross-functional strategies across IT, finance, and procurement to deliver measurable savings while strengthening client relationships.

Qualifications

• BA/BS Degree with 7+ years in consulting and/or price negotiation.
• Demonstrated experience in cost optimization.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of products.
• Excellent communication and written skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Collect, analyze, and present data to help clients decide how best to reduce expenses.
• Review processes and identify expense reduction opportunities using industry expertise and analytics.
• Negotiate pricing and terms with vendors on new contracts and licensing agreements.
• Monitor industry trends, vendor contracts, and pricing changes.
• Lead a team of 3–4 direct reports from start to finish on projects.
• Contribute to P&L management and project timelines/milestones.
• Develop and follow defined Practice Group and company processes.
• Maintain productive relationships with clients, colleagues, and vendor executives.
