Job summary

Baker Tilly Advisory Group, LP is seeking a Software Strategic Sourcing Manager to lead end-to-end software procurement for enterprise and specialty software, drive licensing optimization and manage key supplier relationships.

You will negotiate enterprise agreements, oversee renewals, analyze utilization and partner with IT, Security, Legal and business stakeholders to meet technical and commercial requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5+ years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing and supplier management.
• Direct experience in negotiating software and SaaS agreements.
• Deep knowledge of software licensing models (subscription, perpetual, named user, concurrent, consumption-based).
• Strong analytical capabilities with spend data, utilization metrics and TCO modeling.
• Experience with enterprise software suppliers (Microsoft, Salesforce, Smartsheets, Adobe, etc).
• Familiarity with SaaS management platforms (Zylo, Productiv, Flexera, or similar).

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic sourcing for new software purchases, RFx processes and enterprise agreements.
• Own renewal management for existing software contracts, optimize terms and right-size licenses.
• Analyze utilization with IT/Data teams to identify cost savings and license optimization.
• Partner with IT, Security, Legal and business stakeholders to evaluate suppliers against requirements.
• Negotiate complex SaaS and perpetual license agreements including pricing, SLAs, security and exit terms.
• Maintain supplier relationships through reviews, performance tracking and issue resolution.
• Feed market intelligence back to the IT Category Manager to inform strategy.
• Engage in special projects or other duties as assigned.
