The role partners with business owners and cross-functional teams to develop commodity strategies, manage spend, and negotiate contracts within an Agile framework, reporting to the Senior Sourcing Team Manager in Strategic Sourcing.

Responsibilities

• Develop commodity strategies to save costs and improve quality and service.
• Oversee spend for assigned commodity and plan purchases meeting thresholds.
• Lead cross-functional teams to run bidding processes and contract negotiations.
• Negotiate with Agile contracting framework for various corporate transactions.
• Provide category procurement expertise for the business/function.
• Advise business groups on specs and projected demand for actions.
• Maintain relations with suppliers to develop innovative solutions.
• Identify improvement opportunities and recommend actions.
• Use analytics to spot benefits and prioritize projects for impact.
