Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) is hiring an IT Sourcing & Enterprise Services Manager to identify and execute commercial infrastructure sourcing opportunities across multi-vendor environments. The role blends vendor strategy, contract optimization, and enterprise services management to drive cost reductions and SLA improvements.

The ideal candidate has 8–12+ years in IT contracting and asset management, consulting or large tech org experience, and relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• 8–12+ years of experience in IT contracting, software asset management, vendor management, or sourcing advisory roles.
• Consulting firm experience (Big Four or similar) or in-house at large tech orgs.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, IT, Law, or related field.
• Certifications in software asset management (CASM), ITIL, PMP or related areas preferred
• Willingness to travel up to 80%

Responsibilities

• Rapidly identify and execute commercial infrastructure sourcing opportunities for multi-vendor environments.
• Lead vendor negotiations, contract drafting, SLA redesign, and implementation to capture savings.
• Analyze contracts, spend, SLAs, and pricing structures; model savings scenarios.
• Audit licensing utilization, negotiate discounts, and terms with software/hardware vendors.
• Establish and maintain strategic vendor partnerships; define KPIs and governance.
• Develop and maintain templates, case studies, and playbooks for repeatable processes.
• Coordinate with procurement, finance, legal, and ops to align sourcing strategy across stakeholders.
