Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) is seeking an IT Sourcing & Enterprise Services Manager to rapidly identify and execute opportunities in complex multi-vendor environments. You will lead vendor strategy, contract optimization, and enterprise services management to reduce costs and improve SLA performance.

The role requires 8-12+ years in IT contracting or related fields, travel up to 80%, and a foundation in software asset management with vendor governance across major platforms.

Qualifications

• 8-12+ years in IT commercial contracting, software asset management, vendor management, or sourcing advisory.
• Proven track record of identifying and executing sourcing opportunities with quantified savings.
• Experience at a consulting firm or large global technology organization.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field; certifications in SAM, ITIL, PMP preferred.
• Willingness to travel up to 80%.

Responsibilities

• Rapid sourcing opportunity assessment by analyzing vendor contracts, spend, SLAs, and performance.
• Lead vendor negotiations, contract drafting, SLA redesign and implementation.
• Conduct detailed contract and spend analysis; model financial impacts of alternatives.
• Audit licensing utilization; negotiate volume discounts and licensing terms.
• Establish and maintain strategic vendor partnerships and KPIs; monitor performance.
• Define and govern SLAs; ensure alignment with business requirements and KPIs.
• Maintain templates, case studies, and playbooks; share knowledge across teams.
• Collaborate with procurement, finance, legal, and operations to align sourcing strategy.
