Job summary

vTech Solution seeks an IT Consultant to advise enterprise clients on leveraging IT processes, systems, and techniques to solve complex business problems and achieve strategic objectives. This role bridges client needs with technical solutions, evaluating technology trends, costs, and risks.

Responsibilities include defining technical requirements, recommending IT solutions, and guiding modernization efforts across infrastructure, software, security, and data.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of professional IT experience.
• Broad exposure across infrastructure, software, security, and data.
• Proven consulting skills engaging stakeholders, defining requirements, delivering technical option appraisals.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication, able to articulate technical risks and costs to non-technical leaders.
• Must abide by prohibition on taking/using government equipment outside the United States.
• Fingerprint background checks required.

Responsibilities

• Define comprehensive technical requirements and recommend tailored IT solutions.
• Identify and qualify methods for incorporating modern technology with industry best practices.
• Serve as expert advisor on industry alternatives, presenting data-driven advantage/disadvantage analysis.
• Study technical trends and advise on modernization opportunities for client systems.
• Advise on solution options, implementation risks, cost-benefit analysis, and cross-system impacts.
• Consult with program/project management teams to architect solutions aligned with strategic goals.
• Evaluate legacy and modern system architectures, cloud/on-prem integration points, and enterprise workflows.
• Translate complex business processes into actionable technical solutions, gap analyses, and feasibility studies.
• Apply structured evaluation framework: requirement analysis, industry trend analysis, and trade-off/risk mapping.
