Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Sr. Principal Procurement Analyst to support the SDS Division within DS CIDO.

The role focuses on end-to-end procurement, especially software purchases and renewals, in a FAR/DFARS environment, collaborating with program, engineering, IT, and functional stakeholders. The candidate will drive spend analysis, reporting, and process improvements, ensuring compliant and timely procurement actions while mentoring the team and maintaining data integrity across licenses

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, Engineering, or related field
• 8+ years of Purchasing/Subcontracts/Contracts experience
• Master’s degree with 6+ years experience
• PhD with 4+ years experience
• Experience with FAR/DFARS and public law/flow down requirements
• Experience using MRP/ERP systems such as SAP, Costpoint, or Oracle
• Professional certifications CPSM, CSCP, PMP
• Experience mentoring or leading procurement teams and standardizing processes around software purchasing and reporting
• Background in CPSR compliant environments and audits
• NDAs, LTPAs, and other strategic supplier agreements

Responsibilities

• Lead complex procurement and subcontracting actions in a FAR/DFARS environment
• Oversee BOM and Material Procurement lifecycle from quote to PO
• Analyze spend, lead times, and supplier performance for DS CIDO portfolios
• Own lifecycle tracking for software purchases and renewals
• Lead processes to track software PoPs; coordinate renewals and quotes
• Develop, maintain, and present recurring procurement and software spend reporting
• Mentor others and share procurement best practices
• Establish and maintain data management for quotes, BOMs, software records, and procurement files
• Ensure all procurement actions comply with FAR/DFARS and CPSR standards
• Coordinate with stakeholders to clarify requirements and provide status updates
• Prepare and maintain procurement documentation and audit trails
• Support internal/external audits and management reviews
• Participate in process improvement initiatives to streamline procurement workflows
