Mathematica, Inc. is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager (ITPM) to lead technology projects delivering meaningful value for clients and end users in a collaborative, cross-functional environment in Cambridge, MA.

The ideal candidate will guide teams through the software development lifecycle, apply Agile practices, and manage scope, risks, and timelines while maintaining client relationships and ensuring outcomes align with business goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in public policy, public administration, business, information technology, or related field; or commensurate experience.
• Experience leading cross-functional technical teams and delivering complex technology projects through SDLC.
• Advanced knowledge of Agile methodologies and coaching delivery teams.
• Strong project, program, and stakeholder management skills for multi-million-dollar projects.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with diverse stakeholders.
• Experience using Jira or equivalent tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of complex technology projects, ensuring client-focused outcomes.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across SDLC and diverse disciplines.
• Coach teams in Agile principles and tailor approaches per project needs.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, risks, resources, quality, and deliverables.
• Maintain transparency into project health, performance, and milestones.
• Build strong client relationships and translate needs into actionable work.
