Job summary

Mathematica seeks a Sr. IT Project Manager (ITPM) to drive technology projects that deliver meaningful value for clients and end users.

You will lead cross-functional teams, translate client needs into actionable plans, and guide delivery through the SDLC using Agile practices. You will mentor project managers, manage scope, schedule, budget, risks, and vendor relationships, and foster transparent communication with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and delivering complex technology projects through the full SDLC.
• Advanced knowledge of Agile methodologies; experience coaching teams and project leaders.
• Strong experience with survey data collection tools such as Salesforce, Qualtrics, and Forsta.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of complex technology projects.
• Lead cross-functional teams throughout the SDLC, coordinating work across engineering, architecture, UX, QA, DevOps, data, product, research, and other disciplines.
• Serve as an Agile expert and coach, applying Agile principles and tailoring practices to projects and clients.
• Apply project and program management best practices to manage scope, schedule, budget, risks, dependencies, quality, and deliverables.
• Build and manage strong client relationships, translating needs into actionable work for technical teams.
• Facilitate planning, prioritization, decision-making, and collaboration across teams and stakeholders.
