Job summary

Salt River Project (SRP) in Arizona seeks a senior information technology project leader to oversee the successful development and implementation of assigned IT projects with senior leadership. You will plan, manage, and monitor all aspects of projects, ensuring on-time delivery within budget and delivering business value.

Strong communication and stakeholder management are essential. This role requires leading teams, managing budgets, and representing SRP to vendors and clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience required.
• In lieu of a degree, 11 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience totaling 11 years may be considered.
• Strong leadership and communication skills are required.
• Total project value is typically between $2 million and $10 million.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership for and is accountable for the successful completion and results of major projects.
• Develops and manages detailed project plans to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery and manages budgets to project completion.
• Leads 5 to 15 individuals and directs their work on the project.
• Responsible for all aspects of project execution, including total budget responsibility.
• Communicates with clients using standard reporting formats, milestones, and metrics; provides timely status updates.
• Ensures changes to scope are clearly identified, communicated, evaluated, and documented.
