Salt River Project seeks a Senior IT Project Manager to drive the successful development and delivery of IT initiatives in the Tempe, AZ area. You will lead cross-functional teams, manage budgets, and serve as the primary client interface to ensure value delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience.
• Has understanding of how to leverage business applications for competitive advantage.
• Possesses business, analytical, technical and process skills.
• Ability to deal with multiple reporting relationships.
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills at all management levels.
• Strong communications skills, with an ability to express complex technical concepts in easily understood business terms.
• Ability to use technical tools required for the job.
• Competency in developing solutions to diverse/complex business problems.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for and is accountable for the successful completion and results of major IT projects.
• Develop and manage detailed project plans to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Lead 5 to 15 individuals and manage project staffing.
• Interface with clients and provide timely status reports using standard formats.
• Identify scope changes and document them using standard procedures.
• Oversee project budgets and monitor expenditures to completion.
• Promote problem-solving and quality deliverables that meet business needs.
