MMD Services Inc. is hiring a hands-on Product Manager to bridge business departments with our internal development team in Chicago. This strategic role focuses on identifying opportunities, shaping initiatives, writing specifications, and guiding work through releases.

You will partner with assigned departments, translate needs into actionable tickets, and own key metrics, dashboards, and automated checks to ensure healthy deployments.

Qualifications

• Strong strategic thinking and high-level judgment; break complex problems into parts.
• Proven ability to translate business needs into clear specs for engineers.
• Experience partnering with software teams and leading cross-functional work.

Responsibilities

• Learn each department's goals, processes, and data; challenge proposals before decisions.
• Identify automation opportunities, retire redundant systems, and frame success.
• Translate needs into specifications and tickets; break work into deliverables.
• Coordinate departments, design changes, and manage vendor integrations from evaluation to launch.
• Test in development/staging, plan releases, and build dashboards with automated checks and alerts.
• Define and track metrics; tell a data-driven story to leadership about progress and risks.
• Support junior teammates with analysis and contribute to internal tools and standards.
