We are seeking a hands‑on Data Product Manager to lead the end‑to‑end development of data‑centric products. This role requires a strong technical background in data engineering combined with excellent stakeholder management and product discovery skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead the full lifecycle of data products from discovery through development, launch, and iteration.
- Define product strategy, vision, and roadmap in alignment with business objectives and enterprise data priorities.
- Conduct product discovery activities, including user interviews, design workshops, surveys, and usability testing, to validate concepts and gather requirements.
- Partner closely with data engineering, solution architects, and business stakeholders to translate insights into high‑impact product features.
- Actively manage product backlog, prioritize features based on business value and technical feasibility, and drive development efforts.
- Facilitate workshops and effectively communicate with stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
- Define and track key performance metrics (KPIs) and product‑level financials to measure success and ROI.
- Create product collateral, including charters, case studies, and executive presentations.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Strong hands‑on data engineering experience with data modeling, ETL processes, data warehousing, and modern data architectures.
- Proven track record leading data product development with clear ownership and active involvement (not just oversight).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with demonstrated ability to run effective workshops and influence cross‑functional teams.
- Experience with data visualization, reporting tools, CI/CD workflows, and product lifecycle management.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to derive actionable insights from data.
We are looking for a proactive, technically strong Product Manager who can effectively bridge business needs with data engineering execution. If you have a strong background in building data products from discovery to delivery and can share specific examples of products you’ve personally driven, we’d love to hear from you.
