Job summary

MMD Services, Inc. is seeking a product manager to own the pipeline from idea to release, partnering with multiple business departments and a sizable development team.

You will write specs, analyze data, and ensure designs are sound before build, in a hands-on, release-focused role. The position is hybrid, with two onsite days weekly (Tuesdays and Thursdays); you will shape opportunities into initiatives with clear outcomes and measurable results, and own the intake and sequencing of work with

Qualifications

• 3–7 years of product management experience in a software-driven environment.
• Strong strategic thinking and high-level judgment.
• Engineering-style ability to break complex problems into components.
• Proficiency with Excel and ability to build data-driven narratives.
• Experience collaborating with development teams and writing specifications.
• Clear, proactive communication with business leaders and engineers.
• Track record of owning work through completion in fast-moving environments.
• Curiosity and willingness to challenge assumptions.

Responsibilities

• Learn department goals, processes, and data to pressure test proposals.
• Identify automation opportunities and retire redundant systems.
• Shape opportunities into defined initiatives with measurable outcomes.
• Own intake, definition, and sequencing of work with development teams.
• Write specifications and tickets for engineers to build from.
• Keep backlogs and roadmaps accurate; drive work to closure.
• Coordinate dependencies and sign-offs for regulated changes.
• Define and track metrics; tell data-driven stories for decisions.
• Build dashboards, automated checks, and release health measures.
• Provide progress updates to leadership and contribute to quarterly planning.
• Work in two-week sprints with standups with a 12-person team.
