Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Consultant, IT Product/Implementation Business Analyst to bridge business needs and technology teams, translating requirements into clear designs and verifiable acceptance criteria.

You will elicit, analyze, and document requirements across the SDLC, collaborate with Solution Owners, Technical Leads, PMs, QA, and business SMEs to ensure complete, testable specifications for patient access and support services within Cardinal Health's delivery framework.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience preferred.
• 4–8 years of experience in a Business Analyst role preferred.
• Proven experience gathering requirements from non-technical stakeholders and partnering with technical teams.
• Strong understanding of SDLC processes across delivery phases.
• Experience working within Agile or hybrid delivery frameworks.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience supporting enterprise or healthcare technology solutions.
• Familiarity with CRM platforms such as Salesforce.
• Experience writing detailed test cases and supporting QA activities.

Responsibilities

• Elicit, analyze, and document business, functional, and non‑functional requirements for assigned initiatives.
• Manage requirement changes, ensuring traceability and auditability throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Develop acceptance criteria, use cases, and user stories to support design, build, and testing.
• Ensure requirements reflect business needs and downstream operational considerations.
• Analyze current or future state processes to identify gaps and improvement opportunities.
• Create process flows, functional models, and solution documentation.
• Understand supported applications and integrations for scope and impact analysis.
• Partner with Solution Owners, Tech Leads, PMs, and QA to support end‑to‑end SDLC execution.
• Support test planning with test scenarios and data aligned to requirements.
• Assist in business acceptance activities to ensure delivered solutions meet outcomes.
• Communicate risks and impacts clearly to stakeholders.
