Job summary

The State of Missouri, Office of Administration, Information Technology Services Division (OA-ITSD) in Jefferson City, MO, is hiring a Procurement Specialist to manage technology purchases for state agencies. You will coordinate with project managers, analysts, and vendors to ensure compliant procurement and timely delivery of services.

Key responsibilities include evaluating solicitations, maintaining contract portfolios, and ensuring adherence to Chapter 34 rules.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree preferred.
Public procurement experience preferred.
Experience with IT project management is a plus.
Ability to communicate effectively.
Detail oriented and able to multitask.

Responsibilities

Communicate with agencies to determine needs.
Implement a proper procurement path within established guidelines.
Work with Agencies, Project Managers, Business Analysts and others on procurement.
Perform reviews of solicitations such as IFBs, RFPs, and RFQs.
Evaluate and award within procurement authority.
Handle a portfolio of contracts for renewals, terminations, and amendments.
Work with MissouriBUYS and MOVERS systems, and SAM II.
Communicate with vendors and agencies on terms and conditions.
Handle SOWs via QVL and Prime Vendor contracts.
Secure competitive bids when needed.
Provide regular status updates for contracts and procurements.
Cross-train on ITSD Procurement.
Follow Chapter 34 guidelines and Missouri rules.
Possess strong communication, multitasking and prioritization skills.
