Job summary

State of Missouri through the Office of Administration, Information Technology Services Division (OA-ITSD) seeks a Procurement Specialist to manage the purchase of technology products and services for state agencies. The role coordinates with multiple resources, schedules work, and ensures adherence to Chapter 34 procurement rules.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Familiarity with Chapter 34 and Missouri procurement rules.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize work.
• Detail oriented.
• Public procurement experience preferred.
• Chapter 34 experience preferred.
• IT Project Management experience.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Successful background check required.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with agencies to determine procurement needs.
• Follow established procurement guidelines and processes.
• Work with Agencies, Project Managers, Business Analysts and others on procurement.
• Review formal and informal solicitations (IFBs, RFPs, RFQs).
• Evaluate and award procurements within authority.
• Monitor contracts for renewals, terminations, amendments.
• Work with MissouriBUYS, MOVERS, and SAM II systems.
• Communicate with vendors and agencies on terms, licenses, etc.
• Handle SOWs via QVL and Prime Vendor contracts.
• Secure competitive bids when needed.
• Provide regular status updates on contracts and solicitations.
• Cross-train within the ITSD Procurement department.
• Follow Chapter 34 guidelines and other standards.
