Job summary

HF Sinclair in Dallas, TX is seeking an Inventory/Materials Specialist to manage procurement assignments, analyze spend, and develop supplier relationships across software, hardware and IT services. The role involves leading supplier qualification and contract risk assessments within a framework of controls to maximize value for the corporation.

Minimum 3 years of related experience is required, with a Bachelor’s Degree in a technical or business field.

Qualifications

• Proven proficiency in procurement and inventory control systems.
• Strong knowledge of contract administration and buying/purchasing.
• Advanced reading and writing skills; able to negotiate terms and rates.
• Able to organize, analyze data and lead teams; proficient in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Process requisitions into procurement orders for routine and non-routine materials, equipment, and services.
• Process requisitions into purchase orders for software, SaaS subscriptions, cloud services, hardware, and IT services.
• Identify and qualify suppliers based on cost, cybersecurity, scalability, SLAs, and innovation.
• Monitor supplier performance against SLAs, KPIs and contractual commitments.
• Develop and monitor procurement agreements; assist with bid invitations and supplier qualifications.
• Lead or support RFx events for IT solutions and services; conduct commercial bid evaluations.
• Coordinate with AP to reconcile invoices and improve processes.
• May perform Inventory/Materials Specialist duties.
