Job summary

HF Sinclair Corporation is seeking a Buyer to manage routine and complex procurement tasks within our refinery operations. The role involves turning requisitions into POs, coordinating with Contracts and Accounts Payable, and ensuring timely delivery of materials and services.

You will also oversee supplier relationships and annual PO administration. No prior buying experience is required, but refinery procurement knowledge is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in procurement and inventory control is preferred.
• Knowledge of refinery procurement processes is advantageous.
• Ability to communicate clearly with internal teams and external suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Process requisitions and convert them into purchase orders for materials, equipment, and services.
• Review requisitions for accuracy and coordinate with requisitioners to resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain documentation of the purchasing process and supplier interactions.
• Coordinate transportation needs and liaise with logistics providers as needed.
• Work with Accounts Payable to ensure invoices are accurate and timely payments.
• Act as credit card administrator for site procurement processes.
• Monitor supplier performance and procurement agreements, including bid invitations.
• Lead annual purchase order administration and review requirements for the new year.
