Zusammenfassung

Illinoiscomptroller's Department of Innovation & Technology (DoIT) seeks a Procurement Specialist to plan, execute, and evaluate purchases for the Infrastructure Portfolio. You will process requisitions, bids, and purchase orders in the State procurement system, and advise management and end users on procurement specifications.

You will collaborate with vendors and internal teams, monitor transactions, and support audits and FOIA requests. A comprehensive benefits package is provided.

Qualifikationen

• Requires four years of college, preferably in business or public administration.
• One year of responsible administrative experience in a public or business organization.
• One year professional experience in fiscal, procurement, or contracting functions.
• One year professional experience with Illinois Procurement Code applications.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze procurement challenges and implement solutions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication for diverse stakeholders.

Aufgaben

• Serve as Procurement Specialist planning, executing, and evaluating purchases.
• Process procurements through the State electronic procurement system including bids and purchase orders.
• Meet with agency managers and end users to administer procurements and documentation.
• Monitor transactions and report progress to Portfolio Manager and DoIT staff.
• Assist portfolio staff with research, FOIA requests, and audits.
• Perform other duties as required within the scope of procurement operations.
