Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company LLC through WECTEC Staffing Services is seeking an IT Procurement Agent for a 1-year contract assignment in Juno Beach, FL. You will coordinate procurement of IT goods and services, negotiate contracts, and ensure alignment with budgets.

You will manage end-to-end procurement processes, develop sourcing strategies, and ensure compliance with company policies. Reporting to the onsite manager, you will collaborate with multiple departments to meet procurement needs.

Qualifications

• Education: High school but preferred a 4-yr. degree in Business, Engineering or related field.
• Experience: 2+ years

Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate potential vendors and suppliers.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with key IT vendors.
• Draft, review, and manage IT contracts and agreements.
• Work with the finance department to establish and manage IT procurement budgets.
• Collaborate with IT, legal, finance, and other departments to understand and meet procurement needs.
• Conduct market research to stay updated on trends, pricing, and product availability.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date procurement records, including requisitions, contracts, and invoices.
