Job summary

Hillview Consulting Solutions is seeking a Category Manager- IT Procurement Specialist in Spring, Texas. In this role, you will develop strategic relationships with IT suppliers, lead procurement strategies, and ensure compliance with governance. A Bachelor's degree and 5-10 years of relevant experience are required, along with expertise in sourcing IT categories.

The position is a 12-month contract with a payrate of $60-70/hr. You will work closely with IT, Cybersecurity, and Finance teams to align procurement activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or IT.
• 5-10 years of experience in IT procurement.
• Proven experience sourcing IT categories such as enterprise software.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage strategic relationships with key IT suppliers.
• Lead the execution of IT Category Strategies.
• Create and implement negotiation strategies for IT purchases.
• Utilize SAP to manage IT supplier agreements.
• Support IT procurement operations including PO/proposal tracking.

Skills

Expertise in IT Category Management

Experience developing Master Service Agreements

Understanding of IT supplier relationship management

Excellent communication and analytical skills
