Job summary

Dexian seeks an IT Portfolio Manager to drive business value through strategic technology investments and governance. You will oversee demand management, project portfolio optimization, and cost controls while aligning initiatives with business goals.

You will partner with business leaders, manage vendor relationships, and lead digital transformation efforts. The role requires strong financial acumen, PMI/Agile experience, and leadership across global IT portfolios.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business, finance, or IT.
• 5+ years in financial analysis, budgeting, capital planning, procurement, or portfolio management.
• 2+ years leading IT projects or portfolios and managing teams.
• Strong proficiency with PMI, Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead demand management activities and align tech initiatives with budgets and timelines.
• Manage and optimize the IT project portfolio balancing objectives, risks, and costs.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and value realization across investments.
• Partner with business stakeholders to translate needs into technology solutions.
• Support digital transformation and executive stakeholder relationships.
• Provide leadership for portfolio staff and oversee budgets, KPIs, and resources.
• Collaborate with vendors and strategic partners for effective delivery.
• Coordinate with Finance, Accounting, Tax, and Procurement on spend optimization.
• Develop governance frameworks, intake processes, and annual budgeting cycles.
• Prioritize projects by value, risk, and strategic alignment; report outcomes.
• Analyze contracts and financial data to support sourcing decisions.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial tracking for the portfolio.
• Develop technology roadmaps aligned with business strategy.
• Monitor portfolio health with dashboards on budget, schedule, risk, and benefits.
• Provide cross-department reporting on performance and outcomes.
• Support governance, vendor management, and KPI/OKR reporting.
• Mentor project managers and technology leaders toward delivery success.
• Prepare executive presentations on portfolio status and risks.
• Drive continuous improvement in portfolio management processes.
