Job summary

VNS Health is seeking an IT Project Manager, Portfolio & Governance to lead cross-functional technology projects and governance initiatives, ensuring effective delivery, vendor management, and financial discipline. The role partners with IT leaders, Procurement, Finance, Legal, and stakeholders to define objectives, plans, budgets, risks, and reporting.

The position emphasizes governance, process improvement, and ongoing portfolio reporting across applications, infrastructure, and security.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration/Finance/IT or related field.
• 5+ years of experience leading technology projects and governance initiatives.
• Experience managing vendor relationships, contracts, renewals, and sourcing.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial reporting skills.
• PM certification or related procurement/contract-management certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages project plans, milestones, risks, decisions, and communications across initiatives.
• Translates financial, vendor, and inventory data into actionable governance insights.
• Supports process improvement to increase delivery velocity and portfolio visibility.
• Coordinates IT sourcing, procurement, and contract management activities with Procurement.
• Builds vendor scorecards and leads periodic business reviews with stakeholders.
• Develops budgets, forecasts, accruals, and variance analyses with Finance/FP&A.
