Job summary

The Intersect Group is seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure & Security Leader to serve as the primary onsite IT leader for the Gilbert operation, coordinating with global and remote IT teams to guide infrastructure, cybersecurity, operations, and vendor management.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership in IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and operations.
• Strong cybersecurity background with ability to guide security strategy.
• Hands-on with Microsoft Defender and Microsoft Sentinel.
• Solid networking knowledge including VLANs and network infrastructure.
• Experience with backup/recovery solutions (Veeam/Datto).
• Proven MSP management, escalations, and service delivery.
• Executive communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Knowledge of ITIL principles and IT service management best practices.
• Able to balance strategic planning with hands-on problem solving.
• Experience working with distributed/remote teams.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary onsite IT leader for the Gilbert operation, coordinating with global/remote IT teams.
• Manage MSP relationship with GMI, including ticket prioritization and service delivery.
• Provide strategic direction for the cybersecurity program and roadmap development.
• Partner with CEO, CFO, and leaders to align IT strategy with business goals.
• Lead and scale the IT organization as the company grows.
• Oversee onsite and remote desktop support resources and coverage.
• Lead escalations in infrastructure, security, and operations.
• Oversee IT infrastructure and networking within the organization.
• Support backup, recovery and business continuity initiatives.
• Establish and maintain IT service management processes and best practices.
• Manage third-party IT vendors and ensure effective service delivery.
• Drive strategic technology initiatives and continuous improvements.
