Job summary

NBCUniversal is seeking a procurement professional to join the Enterprise IT Infrastructure Procurement team. You will source, negotiate, and manage contracts across cloud, Generative AI platforms, compute, storage, networking, colocation, and end-user computing.

Work with Finance, Legal, Engineering, and business partners to analyze spend, build dashboards, and drive data-driven procurement decisions. The role offers growth across strategic infrastructure categories with measurable business

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Procurement, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 4+ years of procurement, strategic sourcing, vendor management, or technology procurement experience.
• Demonstrated success negotiating technology agreements and delivering measurable commercial results.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to negotiate pricing, commercial frameworks, and contract terms.
• Experience working with leading enterprise technology suppliers such as AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft, OpenAI, Dell Technologies, HPE, Cisco, Apple, or similar providers is strongly preferred.
• Experience reviewing technical proposals, pricing models, or infrastructure BOMs.
• Strong analytical skills with experience using Excel, financial analysis, and data visualization to support sourcing decisions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across multiple organizational levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead sourcing initiatives and negotiate commercial agreements across a broad IT infrastructure portfolio.
• Draft, review, and redline complex technology agreements, ensuring favorable terms and risk mitigation.
• Review proposals, BOMs, pricing models and terms to validate competitiveness and identify cost optimization opportunities.
• Maintain infrastructure pricing benchmarks and supplier discount libraries to improve negotiation outcomes.
• Analyze infrastructure spend, budgets, supplier performance and forecasts, and develop dashboards to identify trends and opportunities.
• Partner with Finance and stakeholders to collect budget information and improve forecasting.
• Maintain visibility into enterprise Generative AI investments and identify consolidation opportunities.
• Support category strategy development by evaluating suppliers, market trends, and risks.
• Build relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders in a matrixed organization.
• Identify opportunities to improve procurement processes through automation and AI-enabled capabilities.
