Job summary

John Deere is seeking an IT Group Financial Analyst to support Global IT and GLSRA from onsite in Moline, Illinois. You will provide financial analysis, budgeting oversight, and governance for overhead and capital projects.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, forecast liabilities, and drive improvements in IT accounting processes while ensuring GAAP compliance and accurate reporting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of accounting/finance experience.
• Knowledge of GAAP and financial management principles.
• Strong communication skills to translate complex financial information into actionable insights.
• Agile mindset and ability to adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Advise Global IT and GLSRA leaders with financial analysis and recommendations for business decisions.
• Lead annual budgeting and oversee financial reporting, variance analysis, and governance for overhead and capital projects.
• Manage legal liability contingency forecasting and related financial reporting and audit requirements.
• Advance improvements and automation within IT accounting processes.
• Collaborate with global, cross-functional teams across Accounting & Finance, Legal, and IT.
