Job summary

Churchill Downs Incorporated seeks a Senior Director of IT for Derby City Gaming & Hotel in Louisville, KY. The role directs IT strategy, infrastructure, services and applications, guiding the property IT team and aligning tech with business outcomes.

Leading IT initiatives, budgeting and governance, you will shape processes, mentor staff, and ensure operations support guest experiences and compliance across the property.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or similar field is required.
• Minimum of 10 years of IT systems management experience within a large enterprise.
• Preferred certifications include CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, MTA, CCENT, and MCSA.
• Ability to obtain a valid Racing License.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all system and application support for the property.
• Collaborate with the CDI Corporate team office to implement IT initiatives.
• Lead IT projects from planning to delivery and integration.
• Manage IT budgets, timelines and stakeholder expectations.
• Represent Derby City Gaming’s guest service standards and core values.
• Adhere to and implement Corporate standards that are subject to audit.
• Document and maintain critical IT system documentation.
• Develop and mentor team members to meet goals and business outcomes.
