Job summary

Sheehan Family Companies seeks an IS Manager to oversee IT systems, lead a distributed IT team, and ensure security, data integrity, and reliable operations across locations. The role reports to the Director of Operations and is based onsite in Kingston, MA.

The ideal candidate has 7–10 years of IT management experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and a track record implementing ERP and security solutions. Competitive compensation included.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field required; master’s degree preferred.
• 7-10 years of progressive IT management experience, preferably in distribution, logistics, or multi-entity organization.
• Strong understanding of enterprise systems, network infrastructure, and cybersecurity protocols.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all IT operations, including hardware, software, data, and security systems.
• Develop and execute IT strategies that support business goals and operational efficiency.
• Foster a solution-driven IT culture that prioritizes responsiveness, reliability, and innovation.
• Collaborate with leadership to identify technology needs, improvements, and investment opportunities.
• Manage relationships with software and hardware vendors, ensuring cost-effective and high-quality service delivery.
