Job summary

TEKsystems in Brooklyn, NY is seeking a Chief Information Officer to provide strategic IT leadership across multiple business lines. You will oversee technology strategy, cybersecurity, cloud migration to Azure, and the AI governance framework while aligning IT with business goals and controlling costs.

This hybrid, local role requires building agile teams, managing a $1.5M budget, guiding vendor partnerships, and delivering high-value IT services and dashboards to support revenue and mission

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Computer Information Systems or related field with 10 years IT experience, including 4 years at expert management level.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems or related field with 15 years IT experience, including 7 years at highest management level.
• Demonstrated experience in a Lead IT management role with responsibility for staff, budgets, vendors, and processes.
• Comprehensive knowledge of infrastructure, applications, security, and best practices for IT.
• PMP and ITIL certifications strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Build and lead a culture of agility and adaptability among IT staff and vendors.
• Create an IT strategy that aligns with the organization’s direction and controls costs.
• Ensure integration of business processes, data, and customer experience to drive value.
• Manage IT budgets, forecasting, and expenditures in collaboration with CFO.
• Develop and administer IT security strategy and policies to ensure HIPAA, PCI, and other standards compliance.
