Job summary

IREX seeks a seasoned Director of Information Technology to lead technology operations, security, and enterprise applications in a hybrid environment. You will drive architecture, automation, and integration efforts to support global programs and modern platforms.

The role requires hands-on leadership, deep cloud experience (Microsoft 365, Azure), and strong governance around risk, incident response, and vendor management. A CTO-aligned strategic partner will rely on your expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• 12+ years of progressive IT experience, including senior responsibility for enterprise technology operations.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID, Intune, Microsoft Defender, identity and access management, and modern cloud environments.
• Hands-on experience building automation with Power Platform, including Power Automate flows, connectors, and integrations.
• Experience with enterprise applications, systems integration, scripting, APIs, and workflow technologies.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity controls, technology risk management, business continuity, and operational resilience.
• Experience managing vendors, managed services, technology budgets, and complex technical projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day IT operations to ensure a stable, secure, scalable environment.
• Provide technical leadership across cloud, cybersecurity, apps, and integrations.
• Act as senior escalation point for complex issues and drive resolution.
• Implement IT strategy and governance per CTO direction with measurable milestones.
• Oversee service delivery and support for employees and programs globally.
