Job summary

TriCom Technical Services seeks an IT Asset & Procurement Administrator to manage the procurement, deployment, tracking, and lifecycle of network and server assets across the organization. You will collaborate with vendors, IT teams, Accounting, and remote sites to ensure accurate asset management and timely purchasing.

The role emphasizes invoice processing, asset lifecycle support, and enterprise system usage (ServiceNow, SAP).

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Information Technology, Business, or related field; or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years in IT procurement, purchasing, or asset management in a large enterprise.
• Experience with invoicing, purchasing, expense tracking, and vendor management.
• Experience with enterprise asset management, inventory reporting, and lifecycle management.
• Working knowledge of ServiceNow, SAP, or similar systems.
• Experience with account administration, reporting, and enterprise documentation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
• Ability to work on-site Monday through Friday in Lenexa, KS.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Procure IT equipment via approved vendors while maximizing cost savings.
• Coordinate deployment, shipment, receipt, and tracking of assets.
• Manage lifecycle including inventory, reassignment, decommissioning, and disposal.
• Support acquisitions/mergers with asset transfers and inventory updates.
• Serve as primary contact for remote locations on asset assignments and network billing.
• Partner with Accounting to resolve invoice discrepancies.
• Create and maintain documentation for procurement processes and asset inventories.
• Generate reports on inventory, licensing, purchasing, and financial data.
• Process service requests and maintain records in ServiceNow, SAP, or similar systems.
• Provide excellent customer service to internal users and cross-functional teams.
