Civicworks seeks an Information Technology Strategic Administrator to coordinate between the Department of Human Services and the Illinois Department of Innovation and Technology. Based in Springfield or Chicago, the role ensures alignment of business priorities with enterprise IT strategy and governs complex IT initiatives.

The position requires strong stakeholder management, change leadership, and experience supervising a team.

Qualifications

Four years of college education plus four years of progressively responsible administrative experience in analytics, reporting, and strategic planning.
Four years of experience modernizing legacy systems.
Four years of professional experience directing large-scale human services platforms or case management systems.
Four years of professional experience leading diverse teams and working collaboratively with stakeholders.
Two years of professional experience working with procurement for a public or private organization.
Four years of professional experience overseeing vendor performance, including contract negotiation and monitoring.

Responsibilities

Coordinate coordination between DHS program areas and DoIT to align business priorities with IT strategy.
Facilitate high-level communication across agencies and stakeholders.
Lead change management initiatives and governance processes for enterprise IT.
Direct and supervise staff as a full-line supervisor.
Oversee procurement-related activities and monitor vendor performance.
