Job summary

Orkin in Atlanta is seeking an Invoicing Analyst to join the National Accounts team. You will ensure invoice formats, prices, and frequencies match customer contracts, analyze AR balances, perform reconciliations, and help optimize cash flow while minimizing bad debt risk.

You will service internal and external customers with a focus on accuracy and timeliness. The role requires a high school diploma, 1–3 years AR experience, proficiency with Excel and AR systems, and familiarity with JDE;

Qualifications

• High school diploma (or equivalent).
• 1–3 years AR experience in a fast-paced environment with focus on results and customer service.
• Basic experience with Accounting, Customer Service, G/L, and AR Systems.
• Basic knowledge of JDE.
• Proficiency with Excel, Outlook, and Word.

Responsibilities

• Set an example of professionalism amongst peers.
• Establish and maintain relationships with Orkin’s customers and internal stakeholders.
• Maintain timely turnaround for adjustments and requests (≤48 hours).
• Reconcile accounts receivable and initiate adjustments for proper AR balances and revenue recognition.
• Manage accounts in JDE, BOSS, and FOCUS to ensure correct billing, A/R and revenue.
• Analyze AR portfolio to maximize cash realization and minimize delinquencies.
• Ensure payments are applied properly with proper documentation.
• Resolve AR issues via calls/emails/letters with customers.
• Review invoice data prior to release for accuracy.
• Inform management of potential issues affecting customer satisfaction.
• Process necessary adjustments promptly to keep accounts well-maintained.
• Review daily cash batches for correct fund application.
• Follow collection procedures and consider suspending accounts to reduce revenue loss.
• Assist internal and external customers with billing, revenue, G/L, services, contracts, and cancellations.
• Assist with special projects as assigned.
