Job summary

Ivanhoe Electric, a United States-based minerals exploration and development company, seeks a Director of Investor Relations and Capital Markets Communications to expand the team’s capacity to produce investor-ready materials, press releases, earnings communications, and core investor messaging.

The role will manage investor relations infrastructure, CRM, website updates, and coordinate engagements while working with finance, legal, and leadership across time zones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics, communications, engineering/geoscience, or equivalent.
• 3–5+ years in investor relations, equity research, investment banking, or related public company roles.
• Familiarity with mining/resources or energy transition is a plus.
• CFA/MBA/CPA or progress toward designation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and deliver earnings materials, reports, and AGM materials.
• Draft, edit, and coordinate press releases and investor communications with cross-functional teams.
• Cultivate relationships with existing and potential investors and respond to inquiries.
• Maintain corporate presentations, website content, and investor-facing scripts.
• Support monthly/quarterly investor updates and provide peer monitoring analytics.
• Collaborate with finance, legal, operations, and leadership; ready senior management for media appearances.
