John I. Haas, Inc. in Yakima, WA, seeks a Director of Inventory and Supply Planning to lead hop inventory, position management, and allocation strategies across locations and product lines.

You will partner with Sales, Manufacturing, Quality, Logistics, and Finance to optimize service levels and profitability. This role directs the inventory planning team, sets priorities, and ensures compliance with customer and export requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business administration, or related field.
• Progressive experience in inventory, materials, or supply planning, including multi-location inventory or planning responsibility.
• Experience directing inventory across locations with allocation, supply and demand planning, and margin awareness.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with ability to present to senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the company's hop inventory and position management functions across locations and product lines.
• Direct inventory planning and position management, including allocation priorities and make recommendations within approved strategies.
• Oversee domestic and foreign hop-position management, PO oversight, and supplier coordination.
• Provide input on pricing, availability, and timing to purchasing and trading strategies.
• Lead cross-functional S&OP alignment and drive resolution of planning gaps and risks.
• Maintain ERP and position-management systems and sponsor improvements to forecasting tools.
