Job summary

NRI 3PL is seeking an Inventory Planner to optimize warehouse footprint and pick paths across two on-site facilities in Fontana and Riverside. You’ll leverage data to plan slotting, improve processes, and collaborate with DC management and clients to ensure accurate item master mapping and efficient space utilization.

The role emphasizes independent work within a dynamic team, strong Excel and WMS skills, and flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics or related field preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in an inventory planning department preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel.

Responsibilities

• Support operations across two NRI buildings (Riverside & Fontana) and float between sites as needed.
• Analyze item dimensions to enable containerization and other solutions.
• Provide feedback and recommendations to DC management on concerns or obstacles.
• Use data to plan optimal slotting/storage footprint and map layouts ahead of seasons.
• Work with clients to map item masters to billing, product and commodity groups.
• Plan storage footprint for clients and determine item placement by product type.
• Ensure adequate slots and supplies for racking; secure labor for slotting program maintenance.
• Maintain inventory capacity and allocate client storage in Aspire.
