Job summary

Simplehuman in Torrance, CA is seeking an Inventory Planner to own supply planning and inventory management for multiple products. You will balance demand forecasts, production timelines, and logistics to keep inventory optimal, working with cross-functional partners to move products efficiently from contract manufacturers to customers.

This is a full-time, on-site role in Torrance. Ideal candidates bring 1–3 years of planning experience, a Bachelor's degree in a related field, strong Excel

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in operations, supply chain, logistics, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of forecasting/planning experience in a supply chain role.
• Strong communication and organizational skills with ability to provide timely updates.
• Numerical proficiency with a good grasp of key inventory metrics.
• Advanced Excel skills required.
• Experience with large ERP systems and planning/BI tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain supply plans and purchase orders to align inventory with demand forecasts.
• Coordinate withContract Manufacturers for production planning and shipments.
• Oversee inventory levels across locations and adjust to demand.
• Collaborate with Product, Sales, Supply Chain, Demand Planning, Accounting, and manufacturing teams.
• Use historical data and trends to forecast supply for new and existing products.
• Identify and communicate supply risks to ensure sufficient inventory.
• Track fill rate, weeks of supply, turns, and aging; drive improvements.
• Ensure forecasting and planning data accuracy in ERP and planning systems.
• Drive process improvements across supply planning workflows.
• Utilize AI/BI tools to maintain data integrity and visibility.
