Job summary

Defense Logistics Agency seeks an Inventory Management Specialist to monitor backorders and coordinate stock transfers to ensure timely order fulfillment.

You will lead data-driven process improvements, coordinate with service reps, and provide customers with clear access to product and order information. The role requires U.S. citizenship, DoD certifications, and mobility within CONUS.

Qualifications

• Specialized experience in analyzing and evaluating supply operations and programs.
• Extensive customer support experience to analyze and resolve difficult issues.
• Experience with supply policy, procedures, and abrupt problem resolution.

Responsibilities

• Monitor backorder status and resolve issues to meet customer requirements.
• Coordinate and release Sales Orders to facilitate flow in automated systems.
• Expedite actions within supply chains per DLA policy and procedures.
