Job summary

Lennox International is seeking an Inventory Optimization Analyst to partner with Sales, Product Management, Demand Planning, and Supply Planning to optimize stocking across the distribution network in Richardson, TX.

You will apply advanced analytics to maintain optimal inventory levels, improve product availability, and support working capital objectives through actionable insights and continuous improvement. This role requires strong analytical skills and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Analytics, or related field; equivalent education/experience considered.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience; master’s degree preferred.
• Strong business acumen and understanding of inventory optimization and supply chain best practices.
• Ability to analyze large data sets and apply statistical methods.
• Understanding of how inventory decisions impact sales, working capital, costs, and performance.
• Strong knowledge of Supply Chain Management principles and inventory planning.
• Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and continuous improvement skills.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Apply advanced statistical analysis, data insights, and business knowledge to optimize inventory parameters.
• Develop and maintain inventory assortment strategies to ensure right products in right locations.
• Establish performance standards, metrics, and reporting to monitor inventory results.
• Collaborate with Supply and Demand Planning to optimize key inventory parameters.
• Communicate and align inventory assortment, service level, and working capital objectives across stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to improve inventory efficiency and reduce excess stock.
• Prepare inventory analyses and provide insights to support planning and decisions.
