Job summary

Johnson Controls in Milwaukee is seeking a Senior Inventory Planning Analyst to shape multi-million-dollar inventory plans, optimize service levels, and collaborate with Finance, Operations, Sales, and Data Analytics to improve planning processes.

You will analyze demand, supply, and supplier performance, develop optimization-based safety stock, calculate EOQ, and lead monthly reviews with cross-functional partners to reduce obsolescence and boost working capital efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Data Science, Business Analytics, or Mathematics required.
• Minimum 5 years of proven data analytics experience in supply chain and logistics.
• Experience with statistical analysis, data modelling and predictive analytics.

Responsibilities

• Develop inventory plans using optimization methods to support service levels.
• Build/refine safety stock levels based on demand & supply variability.
• Analyze demand, supplier performance to define breadth/depth of inventory plan.
• Create supply plans based on forecast input and seasonal fluctuations.
• Calculate economic order quantities and translate into practical order plans.
• Lead monthly inventory review meetings with cross-functional stakeholders.
