Job summary

Room & Board in Chicago is seeking a Multi-Location Inventory & Operations Specialist to keep inventory accurate across Chicago, Oak Brook and Skokie showrooms, and to partner with Delivery and Distribution Centers. This hands-on role requires strong organization, data-driven decision making and the ability to move product efficiently while maintaining tagging and stockroom standards.

You’ll travel between locations, use SAP, Excel and Microsoft 365, and contribute to a culture of ESOP ownership

Qualifications

• 5+ years of inventory management, retail operations, or related experience.
• Experience supporting multiple locations or a complex operating environment.
• Strong technology aptitude with Excel and Microsoft 365; SAP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own inventory accuracy across multiple locations.
• Move product through showroom and stockroom with tagging.
• Plan and prioritize work across multiple locations.
• Use SAP, Excel, and Microsoft 365 to research inventory issues.
• Build partnerships across locations and coordinate priorities.
• Identify root causes of discrepancies and improve processes.
• Maintain safe, organized stockrooms and support showroom teams.
