Kaman Air Vehicles in Bloomfield, CT is seeking a Sr Inventory & Materials Analyst to ensure inventory health, analytics, and compliance. This role partners with Purchasing, Production, Quality, Engineering, and Government Property to protect working capital and maintain audit‑ready records.

The position reports to the Head of Demand & Production Planning and requires experience in ERP/ABAC controls, material readiness, and cross-functional collaboration within a regulated manufacturing

Qualifications

• Broad knowledge of materials management in a manufacturing environment.
• Working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems (Epicor preferred) and SOX/internal controls.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and Power Query.
• Strong analytical, root‑cause problem‑solving, decision‑making, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• 3–6 years of related experience.
• APICS certification (CPIM/CSCP).
• Experience with BI/reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
• Aerospace, defense, MRO, or regulated manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory health and accuracy discipline, including cycle counts and location governance.
• Develop and monitor KPIs such as inventory accuracy, cycle count performance, and readiness.
• Ensure SOX and DOA compliance for inventory with audit‑ready approval trails.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis on inventory discrepancies and readiness issues.
• Coordinate BOM over/under‑issue analyses and partner with cross‑functional teams to drive corrective actions.
